Do you enjoy gardening? Would you like to work with a group of like-minded folks who want to beautify the community? Do you have the time to plant and/or help maintain a flower bed in your neighborhood? Do you like coordinating the efforts of groups of volunteers?
What are my choices?
There are many options for volunteers to help Strathcona in Bloom. Some (like being part of the Board) last year round; others, like planting and maintaining a bed, last just a few months (May through September.) In the late winter, we are often seeking new volunteers for the upcoming summer season. As we learn which of our volunteers from last year are returning, we identify the gaps we need to fill.

- Board Members
As a member of the Board, you attend and participate in monthly board meetings (except in the summer and December) which takes 3-5 hours/month for a Director at Large. You may choose a specific position (like Chair, Treasurer, Communications Coordinator etc.) each of which have additional and unique time requirements. Board members frequently volunteer in one or more of the ongoing programs as well depending on their interests.
