Strathcona in Bloom is a volunteer organization dedicated to beautifying our community.
Our motto, Cultivating Community, is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that by working together, we can create vibrant, welcoming spaces for everyone to enjoy.
We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers for our programs and our Board.

We have three programs that run during the summer — Public Bed Planting, Front Yard Recognition and Public Spaces Recognition. Volunteer opportunities exist for each of these for the summer of 2026. The time commitment varies among the programs and we try to have enough volunteers so individuals can easily take time off for family and travels.

As a Board member, you will help guide our organization’s vision and strategy, plan exciting projects, and connect with fellow community members who share your passion.
We’re looking for people with a variety of skills and experience—from project management to marketing, event planning, and of course, a love for gardening!
