As we begin actively planning and preparing for the 2026 garden season, we want to extend thanks to the people and organizations that supported us in 2025. You really help us as we work at “Growing our Community.”
Strathcona County is our strong base of support — providing the money needed to buy flowers for all the beds we plant and then watering those beds for us all summer. The County also provides us money to buy all the materials used for our recognition programs — signs, stickers etc. etc.
Salisbury Greenhouses and Home Hardware provided us gift cards to recognize front yards across Sherwood Park and Ardrossan.
Salisbury Greenhouses donated the plants for all the planters by the Museum.
Five greenhouses across the County provided us with a discount when we bought plants — Wallish, Salisbury, South Cooking Lake, Estate and Cornwall Cottage Gardens.
Hundreds of people sent us nominations of places they felt were worthy of recognition.
Rural halls across the County planted flowers in their beds and pots.
And, our volunteers worked tirelessly to deliver our programs — planting beds and visiting homes, businesses, churches, non-profits etc.
If you would like to volunteer with us, send an email to strathconainbloom@gmail.com We will soon be searching for volunteers for all of our programs to make 2026 just as successful!
